 Raising Awareness In The Community
September 29, 2008 - Kingaroy Shoppingworld invited local community groups to mount displays inside the shopping centre recently.
We were pleased to take part and have the opportunity to tell more people about what Quota does and when we meet! We also took the opportunity to sell raffle tickets to shoppers to help raise some money for our club projects.
Club president Sandra Tincknell, (above right), was one of many members who manned the stall over the three days.

Hand-Made Christmas Decorations For Just $5!
September 1, 2008 - If you've seen any Kingaroy Quota members out and about lately, chances are you've noticed they've been carrying cross-stitch kits and are grabbing any spare opportunity to take up their needles and thread!
We've been hard at work hand-making cross-stitch Christmas decorations, (above), which will add a special touch to local Christmas trees this year!
The decorations proved very popular when officially launched at this year's Quota Christmas in July celebration at Dimities Cottage in Wondai.
But there are still more available and orders can be taken! For more information, phone Sandra on (07) 4162-1987.
